Clubs with Makers exist in schools, community centers, and in neighborhoods. Some are open to new members, and others are only for the youth who are already part of the institution that hosts the club. To add your group to the directory, please fill out our Affiliated Clubs Application.
ASU Maker Club is designed to inspire a passion for building, creating and making among anyone who ever looked at a mousetrap and thought: "You know, I could make that better.” The club serves as an informal learning space in which students learn a structured approach to generating and evolving ideas. Participating students have the unique opportunity to receive mentoring from current CTI students and participate in a program of activities designed to deepen their understanding of entrepreneurship, innovation and the design process. ASU Maker Club provides a space where students can implement real solutions by developing and testing ideas and improving them through experimentation and actual practice, while gaining an understanding of the role that each discipline can play in society and broader issues related to community needs. Club members will develop creative and critical thinking skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The club is open to all students who have an interest in making something.
