Clubs with Makers exist in schools, community centers, and in neighborhoods. Some are open to new members, and others are only for the youth who are already part of the institution that hosts the club. To add your group to the directory, please fill out our Affiliated Clubs Application.

We\\\'re a 501c3 non-profit that offers secular enrichment classes and club space for homeschooled or cyber schooled kids in the Pittsburgh area. The local childrens museum has an amazing \\\"Maker Shop\\\" and in the past we\\\'ve had a class called \\\"Newton\\\'s Toybox\\\" that let kids design and create their own electronic devices. There was a great desire among the kids to turn this class into more of a free-form maker shop style club, so we are attempting to do that this term. We already have glue guns, some tools and wire, switches, and battery harnesses. We also have a fiber and sewing studio in the same room at different hours so club members will have access to fabric, yarn and notions. Our budget for additional materials is $40 for this term, so we will take an inventory and let the kids decide what they would like to add to the workshop in addition to any parental donations we accumulate. They plan on starting a blog but will not do so until the first club meeting on September 11th.
